Doesn't the site look wonderful? This marks the start of a new phase for QQQuantity, and I want to mention a couple things before we jump right into it.
This marks the start of a new phase for QQQuantity, and I want to mention a couple things before we jump right into it.
Yes, the site looks great. It fills me with new inspiration, the desire to get up off my ass and fulfill that promise we made to ourselves and each other, to create something good. To put a measure of reality, be it sense or nonsense, back into the swirling trash-heap of ideas we call Culture.
It also makes me want to congratulate Sean the Tech-Master for the sweeping improvements he's made, and to thank all the QQQuantity crew for coming together. It's tough to do that, especially when we live in different cities and work all the time.
And if all we accomplish here is to motivate ourselves and each other, that's a pretty good result. But I think more is possible--more exposure, more people on board, and higher artistic challenges--if we put in the effort and enthusiasm.
We're going to set out some concrete goals and strategies in the upcoming QQQuantity Board Meeting, and I'll have more details then. And if I sound too serious (I realize I made no silly disclaimers), it's only because this makes me realize how much hasn't been done yet. There is a Great Matter to attend to, folks.
