Jonathan Bronson Enters 2016 Presidential Race - [02/25/03]
Washington- Seeking to get the nation "back on the trolley," Vermont native and pretentious musician Jonathan Bronson announced his bid for the 2016 Presidential race this morning to little fanfare. Bronson promises to cut taxes and lower the deficit with his comprehensive "pillage and loot" campaign which is already raising eyebrows in Washington.
"I don't literally mean pillaging and looting," explained Bronson at a fund raiser yesterday, refusing to go into further detail.
Right now he stands unchallenged. "My only real opponent is the potential apocalypse," noted Bronson who has already begun campaigning nationwide at elementary and pre-schools. Currently he and his running-mate Samuel Jacobs are the only members of the brand new "Smarty Party" which hopes to attract the next generation of voters.
"As soon as I'm old enough," proclaimed Bronson "I will heal heal the nation. Oh, and please send money."
QQQ website hacked by Turkish-American video game clan? - [02/20/03]
Site was defaced, actually, on Feb 19. That's what you would call it when someone else changes or rearranges files on a website in order to get attention. It's almost always just HTML thats changed, too. This is a real popular prank for anti-corporate activists, they'll do things like change the headlines on a news page to draw attention to the terrible shit that company does. Instead this group replaced our cute little entry page with their Mortal Kombat/American flag logo. Its funny they bothered with a little site like ours as we don't keep personal info, credit cards, social security numbers, or even pictures of our naked girlfriends on the server, which are all valuable things a real hacker wants to get his hands on and sell. - [more..]
QQQuantity to Team Up with Icebox Records - [02/11/03]
With a new collaboration effort in the making, QQQuantity Records artists and Icebox Records artists will be involved in some remixes. Artists will most likely and hopefully include School Bus, American Head, Reorder Narcotic, the nonners, and maybe some others. MP3s will be posted here.
Webhosting Kinks - [02/10/03]
We've been having some trouble with our webhosting service in the last month so if you have tried to load up the QQQ website and got a "connection failure" we are trying to fix that ASAP. Our site, like just about every other site on the internet, is hosted on a server shared by hundreds of other websites who may be trying to run any number of applications like message boards or news blogs. I've been speaking with a tech who's doing some installs which temporarily effect the performance of their servers. If you do encounter a connection failure while trying to visit the QQQ site, write down the date, time, browser type, and connection speed and post it on our message board when you come back. This will be a really big help in solving the problems we got. Thanks a bunch!
