Lame 'joke' hangs uncomfortably on QQQuantity news page - [07/26/03]
The fake news story "Existentialist gets a haircut" reported July 7, 2003 on the QQQuantity news page has continued to hang uncomfortably as the top story for weeks. Jonathan Bronson, the writer, was asked about the embarrassingly stupid piece.
"I don't know what I was thinking. I don't really understand Existentialism enough to make a joke about it. I mean, I've read Nausea and a couple of Sartre short stories, but that's it. I was trying to be high brow or something. Embarrasing."
QQQuantity president Eli Jacobowitz could not be reached for comment.
